Arecanut (Supari)
The second-most important crop grown in India is areca nuts, behind coconuts. The seeds of the areca palm are used to produce areca nuts, also known as betel nuts. There is a high demand for both red and white areca nuts. It smells strongly and has a bittersweet flavour. Due to the presence of alkaloids, flavonoids, and tannins fatty acids, it is used to make medications. Only the best areca nuts are chosen after being freshly harvested and subjected to quality inspection. These are then dried and packed for shipping in a hygienic manner.
